NEW DELHI: As 13 cities switch to BS IV emission norms from April 1, 2010, prices of motor fuels in places like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata will go up by at least 50 paise per litre. While petrol in Delhi will be costlier by 50 paise per litre at Rs 47.93 per litre, diesel will be up by 26 paise at Rs 38.10 per litre. This is the third increase in diesel rates for Delhi in less than a month and the second for petrol. During Budget announcement in February 2010, prices of fuel were increased.
